Child Registration

To enrol your child in a St Moritz Ski Club program for 2019, please complete the below registration form and deposit the program fee into the club bank account detailed below. Our treasurer will be in contact with your receipt.

Please note that it is a requirement of the Club for the family to be members prior to a child enrolling in a program.  If you have not already completed the family registration, please do so here.

Program Fees

Standard 14 day program: $1,500
This program runs every Sunday for 10 weeks and includes 4 midweek days during the second week of the NSW school holidays. Also included is a FREE return ski bus for our athletes starting at Cooma with stops at Berridale and Cooma. Parents are welcome to ride along for $25ea return.

School Holiday 5 day program: $600
This program runs during the NSW school holiday dates of July 14, 15, 16, 18 + 19 and includes 6hrs of expert ski tuition each program day. Also included is a FREE return ski bus for our athletes starting at Cooma with stops at Berridale and Cooma. Parents are welcome to ride along for $25ea return.

Intensive 28 day program: $3000
Our 2019 Intensive development program if for those athletes who really wish to up the ante. It is a 28 day program, combining our standard Sunday program with the Saturday Race Squad and Holiday race camp.

Saturday Race Squad add-on: $TBC
For the committed junior skier who wishes to further develop their alpine racing experience and intends to compete in the Interschools racing and even the SSA Children’s Race Series. Our Saturday race race squad has a race training focus and runs every Saturday of the standard program (10 saturdays), consisting of 4 hours of intense gate and race technique practice.

Skier Level Descriptions

Level 3: You can snowplough turn and have ridden a chair lift.
Level 4: You are starting basic stem-christies. You are starting to parallel at the end of your turns and can link your turns.
Level 5: You are getting control on Blue runs. You will learn long and short parallel turns.
Level 6: You are mastering Blue and dabbling in Black runs.
Level 7: You can make short parallel turns with a pole plant.  You will learn dynamic short turns, introduce bumps and steep terrain.
Level 8: You are skiing the whole mountain.  You will learn off-piste, powder, bumps, ice and steep50
